On the last week of September and early October of 2016 we went on a trip to south India, Sirkazhi to train extension workers on video production and in the process the beauty of the region got hold of me, and these pictures are part of what i experienced. Sirkazhi is a municipal town in Nagapattinam district in Tamil Nadu, India. It is located 13 km from the coast of the Bay of Bengal, and 250 km from the state capital Chennai. Sirkazhi was a part of Thanjavur district until 1991 and has later been part of Nagapattinam district. Wikipedia
